LYDIA BUFFET

Sculptural and self-contained when closed, Lydia reveals a carefully resolved world of service and storage when opened. Its softened oval body is emphasized by a continuous glossy lacquered surface, while a slender chrome structure lifts the tall volume from the floor and visually lightens its silhouette. Two doors with concealed handles preserve the continuity of the curved exterior. Inside, shelving, service areas and dedicated storage respond to different functions, while integrated lighting gives greater definition to the interior. Lydia creates a strong balance between the restraint of its closed form and the functional richness revealed within.
